I've been waiting to see the fullers release show up in Ottawa, hope I can make it down to get some of these.

And I definitely want to get a bottle of that bourbon.

I saw this and was instantly thinking of a double coffee milk stout. Maybe a tim hortons sponsor? :)

Beersmith tells me this should be around 1.048 og, with all the cane sugar it'll probably finish up pretty low though.

The beersmith est FG is saying 1.001 that's going to be pretty dry and strong, do those numbers sound right to anyone else?

We dropped by the brewery last week. Tried the pale and the white, the pale was good not great. It'll probably do well with the average drinker, not for the hophead. It uses cascade not citra, which makes sense since citra is pretty hard to get right now. I thought the white was really good, nice an...

It's being sold in a two pack right now with Dr. Jekyl a night marzen/lugtread blend. It also comes with a 7" Vinyl sampler, gonna have to break out my turn table. :) Pretty awesome packaging and artwork on the bottle.

Beau's Mr. Hyde

I just finished a Beau's Mr. Hyde Mr. Hyde • Roggenbier meets RyePA • 7.0% alc./vol. A tribute to the Roggenbiers of Germany, but done with with a North American twist. Deep copper in colour, Mr. Hyde is a rye beer that has been hopped aggressively in the American vein. However, it utilizes German h...

Our Curling club has Squirrel and their new Pilsener Mr. Huff on tap, Squirrel is ok. Like someone said previously it's an unoffensive malty lager. The Mr. Huff I didn't care for at all, there was nothing particularly wrong with it but it is dead boring. I do enjoy a good pils but this wasn't it. Ou...

They are also selling custom keggerators built to fit 2 ball-lock corny's, energy star fridge, perlick tower, c02 bottle, regulator, lines, etc...

All ready to pour for $436 taxes in, hell of a deal. Neat idea when you also sell the corny's to go in the fridge.

Bacchus Oud Bruin

I've had a couple of these since the fall release has started hitting the shelves, I've been really enjoying. Pours a reddish brown, with a big off white head. Some sourness and winey smells. A little sourness in the taste but balanced with the sweetness of the malt, I honestly could do with a littl...

Garrison Hopyard Discontinued?

Hey I just saw on the LCBO site that the hopyard pale ale is being discontinued. That's too bad, there's so much crap at the lc but they and they can't seem to keep some of the better beers on the shelf.

Pretty sure I used Galena at 60 minutes and I think I did cascade additions at 30 and 15 minutes. 1/2 oz each. I dry hopped with 1 oz of cascade as well.

The hops you listed would be pretty tasty too.

I second what Ralphus said about the cincinnati pale ale, that was my first recipe. Although I went right ahead and steeped some crystal 60 in there as well. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I didn't bother with the 2nd recipe he lists the Palm O'Porter, I just moved on to an extract recip...
