Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

The Project X batch, which I loved, had 30 IBU and came in at 7% ABV. Will have to pick up one to see how much it's changed.

Interesting to me that there is a sticker on this instructing you to cellar the beer until at least December 31, 2014. I think i will do so, but I'm curious as to what it is like now. Did anyone taste it at the launch on Thursday and/or has anyone been bold enough to crack a bottle? http://www.bart...

Hope to see some of you tonight at the brewery! We will also have some Growlers available of Half Nelson, Harry Porter & the Fairgrounds Coffee Bean, and Fangboner (India Brett Ale)! Tonight will mark the soft launch of our new growler program as well. Cheers, Troy what is the cost of the growl...

Shame that both sets have the same product #. The Erin Mills Mississauga LCBO only had the non-Kelpie set. You wouldn't think creating a second product number would be that much work, but then maybe the 'BO never expects many with the Kelpie to show up and so can't be arsed. If you can't find a set...

Not sure if it has been posted here yet (softly curses search function), but did find a batch of the Historic Ales from Scotland packs @ Summerhill had Kelpie in them. Same product # as the regular pack, but the regular mix was in a grey box whilst the one with Kelpie is in the trad brown box. Been ...

Wasn't that the Pepe Nero? If not, I wish I had seen the Pere Jacques.
It was the Pepe Nero. I'm rather certain I read the Pere Jacques is just in for the tasting.

At the end of a very, very long day, am polishing off a growler of Ralph's Nuts. Not sure if it is the same as was had at Volo's 25th party as the Ratebeer ABV is 2% higher.

Not a bad saison, but not knockout. A very session-worthy saison though.

Secondly, I don't care about how natural and organic your ingredients are if your beer comes out no better than average at best... I've had Beau's offering after Beau's offering and been rather unimpressed. Then I had the Mr. Hyde on tap. Not earth-shattering, but I'd quite happily buy it again, an...

If you're interested in it, I'd suggest finding your Saison Dupont somewhere dark -- picked up a light-struck bottle just the other day. Not to say your case is wrong. Are you (or othes on the BT) certain this is from skunking? I've quite enjoyed Saison Dupont in the past & pretty much devoted ...

Had one just the other week. While not my fave pumpkin beer, it was quite fine, as has been every other Black Creek bottle I've purchased.

Stranger still is that the LCBO info line only regurgitates what one can find on the website. At the very least, I would have thought they could let me know which stores would be getting some in.
