The latest addition to our portfolio are the ales of Brouwerij Viven of Sijsele, Belgium. Founded in 1999, the don’t actually have their own brewery…yet. They plan to open a small brewhouse late in 2014. In the meantime, they have been brewing in collaboration with one of Europe’s finest brewmasters...

Actually, KELPIE was not supposed to be in the pack so if there are some out there it's probably because they ran out of one of the others. I'll check with the brewery. 720 cases of Rochefort 10 arrived in the LCBO warehouse last week. That''s 17,280 bottles so should be enough to go around.

Just received confirmation that Orval arrived in the LCBO warehouse on Oct. 29, 2013.

Orval and Achel Bruin are simply late and will be released to stores as soon as they arrive. Orval will probably be first and Achel will not be out until the new year. They are not General List.

It seems I was fed a bill of goods when I was told my 4 gift submissions were rejected because of excessive non-alchohol components. After what seems like forever, our latest order of Rochefort 8 has arrived and should start hitting LCBO stores any day now. 480 cases arrived but there are store back orders of 200 already and I'll be buying a chunk for our bar customers so it'll be gone quickly.

The alcohol discrepancies are just that...the brewery labels an alcohol content and the LCBO tests (using gas chromatographs which no brewery probably has) and find's there is a discrepancy.
