Well, look. The Craft Beer Market has not expanded independently. It expands as much as the LCBO allows it to. The switch over to grocery stores is going to be a brief hiccup. And then the lawsuits will begin.

Re: Molson Coors bringing its ‘craft’ beer Blue Moon to Canada
You've sort of got to hope that they understand they're not bringing the brand with them. The only reason to bring Blue Moon is if it comes with the attendant properties.

You know how usually I'll pop into a thread like this and tell you all to look on the brightside and point out a couple of interesting things?

Enjoying with boiled small fresh white potatoes, a dish by itself with minced parsley, butter and fresh ground pepper. Mmm. :o Oh there's nothing like baby potatoes that went from being pulled out of the ground to on the plate in 30 minutes This is correct. Little dill, maybe. Little sea salt.

Re: Duggans and their beer
I always liked the porter that he had at the old location. It wasn't on at the new brewpub. I don't think I'd use the term substandard but it's generally pretty safe, middle of the road styles and interpretations. I keep saying to them: "Bring back the Porter. It was your best beer and then it...

It turns out that the new Bush Pilot offering is quite good. It's a little more focused than some of their bigger beers but the quality level is about the same.

Ayinger Weizen Bock , worth the five bucks and a very good value for Ontario! Gregorius Trappistenbier , wow this is nice, big fat palate but creamy with a lot of complexity and balance, a true original. Beyond the grape/fig flavors and sweetness you might expect from a Belgian dubbel/quad, this on...
