Chimay Gold - Better than expected.
Fat Tug - July 18 bottling, drinking well. Wish I could get it under a month old.

Re: Crossroads (Weston & 401) clearance section
It was a drainpour for me. Yeah I cracked one last night. Tasted almost like syrup, very sugary, flat. I got through half a glass. Flavours and nose are nice, but just way too intensely sweet for me. This is a bottle to be split 5 ways or poured on pancakes. Many reviews describe as such, but perha...

I cracked a bottle of the Kwak and Bruton and they were both tasty, though I've never had them fresh.

I didn't enjoy this batch nearly as much as the last time it came to the LCBO.DeMarco wrote:Rogue 7 Hop IPA ... Bottled May 3. Just so frustrating.

I assume the same is true for Rogue 7 Hop. The last time it came to the LCBO is was reasonably fresh and tasty.spinrsx wrote:Calling ipa STILL sitting in a warehouse somewhere? What a shame.

For me, Ransack has snatched the "go-to" crown from Headstock. Widely available, fresh and smoother IMO. I've had some phenomenal cans of Headstock, but not lately.sprague11 wrote:Collective Arts Ransack the Universe - Happy having this as one of my go to's

I'll be grabbing both of these to try. The Hickson IPA was excellent. I'm confused by how/why TBS carries beer from this tiny Quebec brewery. Maybe just a token gesture?spinrsx wrote:new at TBS:

Re: Finally a good beer spot in Mississauga!
It's odd that with an impressive list like that there's no mention of the beer selection on their website.
Looks like it has a nightclubby/Moxies type feel to it from the photos.
Still with beers like that I'll gladly visit if I'm up that way.
