According to untappd, moralite is still listed as a collaboration with the alchemist. After trying heady topper for the first time recently, I can taste similarities in hop profile. Also the first Quebec IPA I'd ever liked.

Re: Buster Rhino's BBQ Toronto
Huh....I never made it there, mostly because BBQ is so damn expensive....but I had planned to visit. Now....where does one go if they do want a BBQ & beer fix in Toronto? I would have said Baju at the Monarch but apparently it is now closed. AAA is good and has good beer but it's a bit pricey, ...

Re: Yep.
Sure there will be a line, but based on that price point, I probably won't be in it. I certainly liked the normal version, but not nearly enough to pay this much. I think the original one I tried was mind-blowing, back around 2009. So much big velvety bourbon character. The second one was I think a...

After buying a case of the Rodenbach vintage, I'm ok with missing this release. One day I'll try BCBS, but for now I'll stock up on dragon's milk

Re: Schneider Weisse Mein Cuvée Barrique
I absolutely loved this beer. The wine/barrel/sour reminds me of Panil Barrique but there is so much weizen awesomeness that follows the initial tartness.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
Since Rodenbach is pasteurized anyways, I'd argue there isn't much point in aging it. The vintage might be different over time though.

Just got back from QQ. 2013 Rodenbach vintage is out! I don't remember seeing this on any seasonal lists. Also quite a bit of Unibroue 17 Grand Reserve.

Re: Ontario Announces First Winning Bidders for Sale of Beer in Grocery Stores
I've actually got no real conception of what 10,000 square feet looks like in grocery store form. Does anyone have a better idea, using stores in the downtown Toronto area as comparables? Can we use Rabba foods as a unit of measurement? I think 10k square feet would be about two Rabbas :) Even the ...
