Re: 2020-2021 Winter Season at the LCBO
There were some miscommunications at the LCBO office. We've hopefully cleared things up and we're hoping Stille Nacht starts to make its way out to stores across Ontario within 2 weeks.

We're hoping it can reach stores by Christmastime. If not, it cellars beautifully.
Shelf listing. 4000 bottles.

Re: 3F or FFF, FFS
3F's cardboard box failed the lab. So we're now waiting for a re-testing of the cardboard box and we'll hopefully have it in for the summer Was the cardbox pulp content mislabelled?!? Seems dubious. Probably LC's internal safety & integrity standards. Oh, the beers that have been box-shamed for...

Re: Mad Bitches and Oerbiers
Just had a Oerbier from the order as well as a Dulle Teve - both maturing brilliantly! Extremely nice having these DeDolle in Ontario, thank you importer people... you rock. 8) That's great! This batch of Dulle Teve was spectacular. Tastes great fresh or aged. We're hoping to have a certain Christm...

yeah, we heard that from one client. Called the LCBO to fix it and I think they did finally figure it out.tyke66a wrote:Hello Gleemer LCBO mangled your sku's for Oerbier and now they can't think outside the cardboard box!

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives
If you want to make a final push to grab some beer... A random case of Dulle Teve was put online. 9 bottles left as of today. Still 225 saison bottles available. Between us and Keep6, you can probably hit the $50 minimum to get some good cellarstuffers. Also by the case and available for free delive...

Re: 2020 Spring Ontario Craft Beers and Imports at the LCBO
Why such shit all the time?!? You have to apply pretty much 1 year in advance to have your beer released for the seasonal release. it ain't easy. As an aside, 3 Fonteinen Armand & Gaston and Oude Geuze 750 mL were supposed to come in for springtime (shelf listing) except, somehow, 3F's cardboar...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives
For those interested: Fantome Dark White is available again. LCBO releases 20 at a time (weird since it comes in cases of 12). We expect them to be gone in 1-2 days. Hanssens Oude Geuze and Scharbeeke Kriek should be available any day now, by the bottle. Dulle Teve will be available any day now. onl...

Re: LCBO Winter Seasonal Craft Beer Release 19/20
is it just me, or is the LCBO worse than ever at getting these seasonal beers released in a timely fashion (or even at all) you'd think after all this time the process would be streamlined to some extent The issue with the delays is an interesting one. It's a dance between the brewery not having th...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives
IIRC the De Dolle Oerbier and Dulle Teve ABV %'s were way off too, I think they were 'inverted' (the lower % one was actually a higher % than the higher % one ) This was an interesting example. That batch of Oerbier was an anomaly. Kris is an incredibly talented brewer. That batch, for reasons unkn...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives
First, thanks for the support... Thanks for the info, excited to open these. What about serving temperature for these two? I notice they say to refrigerate 24 hours before opening. Does that mean serve cold? Also, Dark White says 4.7% abv on the brewery label, with a sticker saying 6.2% abv. What g...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives
I ordered a bottle of Fantome HIver and Dark White last night. How do these beers take to cellaring? Dark White sounds like something I might want to save for Christmas 2020. First, thanks for the support. Hiver: personal opinion? it's great now. will probably still have legs down the road. I'd aim...
