No but the website is hammered. No capacity added to deal with the onslaught.

Re: LCBO Autumn, Halloween and Ontario Craft Beers 2018 Release
I don't mind pumpkin beers. Having a couple a year around October is fine. Just like some of the winter beers in December and January.
My favourite though is Southern Tier Pumking. I'm going to try to brew a clone this year though with less ABV.

Re: Cask Days 2018
Not sure if they had it last year...but when I went 2 years ago there was no early access for Session 1. Everyone with tickets / baller passes / etc got same entry time for Session 1. Only the Night and Saturday ones had early access. Hmmmm... I'll have to recheck my previous years tickets. Maybe I...

Cask Days 2018
Early access for the Friday afternoon session as an add-on isn't available this year. That's annoying. (Aside from Brewer's Gathering and presumably the seminars which I don't want.) Was this a known thing that I missed?
Had I known that I would have tried to get the early bird tickets.
Sigh.

Of course I'll post my usual complaint about not posting the beer list before tickets are available. Sigh.

Re: Witchstock 2018
Thought about it. In my younger days I'd likely have gone. I've found I can't drink as much as I used to. I won't get my monies worth with "unlimited" samples. I never went to the previous one and I've never been to their Hafis location to see how 750 people fit in there but that number is...

Do both. Do afternoon rooftop patio at BrewCo and later on King St. Food and beer menus are different.

Re: Downtown Toronto LCBO’s
Summerhill, King & Spadina and Queen's Quay is good too. King-Spadina turned out well, you're lucky it dropped right by you guys. It's also a LC store that's not closed up at 9pm sharp like the 'service' so many offer. 11 PM!! Yes it has been very handy. The late hours are nice too. It'll be go...

Other than doing the odd lottery, I've given up on extremely limited releases either via lcbo.com or in-store. I just can't be bothered anymore with the hassle, frustration and waste of time.

Re: General LCBO Debate & Discussion Thread
So with the PCs and Doug Ford soon to be in power in Ontario and supposedly a willingness to make further changes to how booze is done here, what agenda should bars, breweries/wineries/cideries and the general public be asking of the soon-to-be new administration? (Got to get something good out of a...

Re: Montreal
Where do you guys find it s good to stay (clean, north of downtown, reasonable price.) All my visits accommodations prior to the last one were downtown. The last visit was with eight people and we split an AirBnB near the Outremont Metro. I was initially like "Why all the way up there?!" ...

Re: Montreal
I always go to these places:
DDC
Vices et Versa
Benelux
Cheval Blanc
Le Saint-Bock
Bottles:
Rahman (it's near DDC) - check bottling dates though
Peluso
If you want some arcade experience as well then Northstar Pinball and Arcade MTL also have pretty decent beer available.
