Drank two bottles of Karma Citra last night. I don't know what the deal with Great Lakes' IPA's are but they go down hill at an alarming rate. Barely any hop aroma or flavour, just syrupy sweetness. Completely different beer than I had two weeks ago. The same thing happened to the six bottles of Lak...

Well, they've been getting some good reviews on RateBeer: http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/longslice-hopsta-la-vista/276477/328825/ Check out that gushing description and perfect score from first-time rater "steelpeat"! (I'm assuming no relation to the founding Peat brothers, of course.) And ...

Nice. Any brewery opening somewhere closer than Toronto is good news.

Based on those pics I'll be happy to never drink their beers.

Was just in Zion and Bryce in the south. Only ok bottle spot I found was in one of the lodges just as you get to Zion from Vegas. A weird gift shop with a walk-in cooler at the back. Bought a bunch of Wasatch and Uinta. There is also a decent amount of local beer at the Ruby's grocery store at the ...

Nice. How did you get so many packs of KBS? I'm drinking a Great Lakes Karma Citra. Prefer Lake Effect (although the last three I had were nothing but malty, syrupy abominations with no hop aroma or flavour) but I'm digging the Karma Citra. Great flavour and aroma and a pleasant, non-acerbic bittern...

Yah, God forbid you be embarrassed about bringing Ontario beer, the very best of which is half rate at best. I wouldn't listen to ckoop's comment. What does he know? He's only been there before. Maybe you shouldn't go. The very best of Ontario beer, I admit, is no longer "half rate". Howe...

I welcome any change that allows looser sales.

It may be at a glacial pace, but positive changes will eventually snowball to private retail.

Honestly, most of the stuff that is shared is just nice local stuff. Grab some Bellwoods, nicklebrook immodest or malevolent, or some Great Lakes robohop/karma citra and people will be stoked. My earlier comment was just regarding how pumped I was getting to try stuff like Black Tuesday, BA speedwa...

Got tickets this year for the first time ever after trying for years, got a hotel that's about 10 minutes away from the brewery booked as well.

Not sure what I should do about bottle sharing though. I don't have anything worthwhile to share.

Stone is a joke. There's the cue to stop reading. I will say though that Greg Koch is great. Love the guy. That's fair. As I re-read my post, it was not all that clear and the wording was poor. My honest opinion is this: - We are getting Stone in Ontario because they've exhausted their American gro...

Troll's obvious, so forgive me if I ignore everything else you post from now until the end of time. Yep. I've been posting on and off for nine years just so I can troll. You got me figured out. Be my guest and ignore my posts. It won't hurt me any. However, if you'd be so polite as to indulge me, I...

That's not what I said. They fall in to that other category of breweries that already distribute to basically (if not) all 50 states. The truth of the matter is that big beer geeks in the US don't drink Stone, aside from Enjoy By. I'm sure you'd find many BTers that have regular access to US beer w...

HAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA

whatever.
Truth hurts, I know, so I forgive your sarcastic, all caps laugh.
