Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. I'm curious to see if there is a valid legal challenge. For instance, is is legal for a government to forcibly mandate a producer to use a competitor to go to market? There have been many challenges to companies like Bell controlling the infrastructure other communications providers like ISPs have t...

IT TASTES COLD, MAN!!! DON'T YOU GET IT??

It. Tastes. Cold.

A billboard in Toronto told me. Billboards don't lie.

Lay off the Coors.
And apparently the cans fly!

They are pretty different. For one, the Mill St. Stock Ale is their weakest product while the Molson Stock Ale is probably their strongest.

(Case labelling would add $5.00 per case in charges and strip labels on the caps would add $7.50). Wow, there's a good job, stick tape over caps at 31 cents a bottle! I bet they had to send the beer all the way to China to have the labels added that cheap! If they did it here, I wonder how much tra...

Managed to score some at Yonge and Eglington. It's probably the worst stocked store in the city, so the rest of you should be in luck soon. In fact I was totally surprised to bump into it.

It's finally chilled enough to enjoy :P

Donating it to the Democrats? I thought they were big corporate sponsors of the Republicans.

I guess this is better than pouring it down the drain. Even the fish know better than to swim in Coors Light.

I wonder if this means you now have to wear a baseball cap to drive your car?

I'm glad he touched on Molson Porter and Labatts IPA. Those were staples in our house when I was growing up

Ironically, they ended up being my gateways not to Molson and Labatts products but to the Porters and IPAs they don't bother brewing!

This brings back some memories... Almost ten years ago I was in Israel on a business trip when one of my hosts ordered us a couple bottles of this mysterious Palestinian beer in a restaurant. I think it was the amber. I was impressed by the beer and surprised that it was being served in a Muslim own...

Now, do you suppose they could legislate every LCBO to carry each one of these? How about making it a condition of the beer store's license to operate that they carry each of these in all outlets?

Maybe it's a good sign or it was just a good excuse for our MPs to have a few brews at work

Ironically, if they just were honest and called it the Molson Frat Boy Party, they would probably attract more visitors, make more money and Molson would get a better return on their sponsorship by hitting their target audience square on. I stumbled on an Oktoberfest kick off party in the Dis...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

Tankhouse Ale, for me. I had a choice between a Victory Hop Devil that has been expired for almost a year and a Tankhouse Ale. I chose the Hop Devil. Sadly still trumps the Tankhouse. Tankhouse is one of the best beers available at my local LCBO. Certainly the hoppiest. Sad, I know. Well, it's Mond...

Gasoline is far cheaper than beer and and producing and consuming it causes far more damage all around. The only real solution is to drink more and drive less! It's time to turn Canada into a beer economy. :D Seriously though, most people are not aware of the environmental disaster the oil industry ...
