Then a 1983 Thomas Hardy's at home. Whoo boy, that's a hell of a brew 30 years later... :o Details, please... It was interesting to taste history. Lots of soy, sherry, a slightly tart character alongside molasses, toffee, fruits, etc... Bottle had heavy sediment stuck to the bottle but beer poured ...

Then a 1983 Thomas Hardy's at home. Whoo boy, that's a hell of a brew 30 years later...

A couple at The Only - Double Trouble Prison Break Pilsner (kinda meh, too sweet with not enough hop backbone), and Bellwoods Farmhouse Classic (nice brett character, easy drinking but I could do with a little more brett and a little dryer, nice though...)

SOB Bulk Grain Orders

I've heard about the bulk grain orders SOB does and have tried to become a member on their site but they don't seem to ever respond or validate requests. Is there a way to find out when these orders are and/or get in on the bulk buys? Thanks for the help!

Hmmm...there's a rumour/news that Ontario got 1/2 of the 210 cases (6 x 750ml) of 3 Fonteinen Oude Gueze Armand & Tommy. Just waiting for the labeling to be sorted. Or has this already been discussed somewhere? This would be truly amazing. Anything 3 Fonteinen would be amazing actually. Fingers...

Had this at The Only - have to say it is kinda 'meh'. There's some Belgian yeast characteristics in the nose (along with a touch of solvent), a bit of orange in the flavour (particularly in the finish), and a gentle roastiness. My biggest complaints are the lack of depth in flavour (it comes across ...
