Re: Bellwoods Brewery

I just tasted the draft version of 3 Minutes to Midnight at Hafis rd this afternoon and I officially have no idea what people are talking about with regard to it being a "hot boozy mess" or something. No alcohol burn to speak of, no medicinal cherry flavor, good barrel character but not ov...

Re: New non-LCBO/TBS beer releases

Great Lakes is releasing Solstice Imperial Stout again today. Bellwoods released Ghost Orchid, a pale ale. They also said: Coming down the pipeline we've got 5 hits from the past -- 3 of them are barrel-aged, 2 contain cherries, and 2 are imperial stouts. All coming before the end of the year. I ho...

New Limburg Belgian Blonde love this beer! on tap at the source its crazy good I was really curious about this one when I first read about New Limburg because it's just so rare to find a legit Belgian blonde made by a north american brewery. I hope LCBO distribution for it gets wider so I don't nee...

Any idea why they did? My guess would be that the LCBO could in no way guarantee the beer would hit the shelves on black friday.
i assume their infection issue depleted inventory

Re: Cask Days 2016

Now to sit down and prioritize the 60+ beers that I want to try. I've got 72 that I would drink, 24 that I would seek out if available I always go with 16 tokens and I'm more than satisfied by the end. There are just so many interesting offerings this year. I'm sure I'll be happy no matter what I'm...

Re: puzzy

You're joking but kind of on the right track as sampling it for customers in the store would go a long way. They already do it with the more accessible beers like Keith's or Mill St, though I wouldn't presume to know how much choice each LCBO store exercises regarding what they sample in-store. Non...

Re: puzzy

Saison Dupont coming back as well....but in the smaller bottle format. They were disappointed with sales during the last release in the 750ml format. It did not do well. Because 'they' are clearly experts at marketing these beers and understand who they are selling it to... All humor aside, this is...
