Re: Buffalo NY - what to see and explore?
Had a family day trip to Niagara Falls NY and Lewiston today including Haystacks at the Silo. Had to check out the Tops in Lewiston. OMG what a selection of US craft! I saw 6 packs of cigar city jai alai ipa, Lawson’s super session 8, got the last can of Lawson’s sip of sunshine and a troegs nugget ...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
Beau's IPA is now available in 473ml cans. I enjoyed it in bottles, but at $5.25 for 600mL that works out to the equivalent of $4.14 for a 473 mL can. The actual 473mL can is sadly still $3.95 so still on the higher end of the price range.

Re: Whitewater brewing - Class V IPA
I agree this is what the wife and I call a disappointing IPA. More a British style malty reddish ipa, than a hoppy American style. If it doesn’t have citra, mosaic or simcoe, don’t bother I've been trying to figure out if you meant this seriously, or were poking fun somewhere. Regardless, I confess...

Re: What're you drinking right now?
Ransack The Universe, which has become my go to beer recently. Unfortunately, it's my last for a while, as I was just diagnosed with IBS. My gastro specialist wants me on something called a FODMAP diet for at least a month, which apparently frowns on the consumption of beer. Surely this is the way ...

All right, they’re making a Lager with European hops!
This one is darker, and also won’t have any corn syrup or foam enhancers

Re: Collective Arts - Stranger Than Fiction Porter review
Complexity means layers of flavour or aroma, you mentioned toasted malt, chocolate, coffee and burnt toast. That implies complexity.
If it was without complexity it would be one-dimensional

Re: Badlands Brewing Caledon
Badlands Brewing in Caledon has added a second beer available at The Beer Store. Through The Glass IPA, a dank, hoppy, hazy, double dry hopped juicy beer. Style: IPA ABV: 6.5% Color/Appearance: Hazy, pale and straw yellow in color. Smell: aromas of mango, peach and citrus with just a touch of pine. ...
