While putting up the Xmas tree
Golden beach pale ale
Sam smiths winter welcome
Sam smiths impy stout-excellent stuff, really nice smoky undertones. It's a bit thin though, no where near the body of their oatmeal stout

Re: What're you drinking right now?
Double Trouble Fire in the Rye I've had this before, but not very much and not for a long time. If it wasn't for "so many beers and so little time", I'd be happy to have this more often. I feel the same way, although I do think for the price, there's better options available which is why ...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
I'm finding the Lake Effect very bitter, almost burnt rubber bitter and metallic. The tropical fruit is there, but in a sour rocket jolly rancher kind of way. Not impressed. I had a bottle of Liberty Ale dated Oct 2016 a couple hours later and found it more enjoyable. Maybe I'm crazy. I've really b...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
I think at this point it's safe to say that quality varies so widely in Ontario - mainly due to how the LCBO and TBS handle and store beer - that it's difficult to make a confident recommendation nowadays. I've been buying Lake Effect directly from the GLB retail store, and grabbed the first batch ...

Last of the muskoka harvest ale.
A TAnk 7 farmhouse ale- I love this stuff, only wish it was a regular lcbo listing. It kicks the ahit out of Ontario saisons

Anyone have an idea of the amount in of these coming in. Will it actually make it further than 7 or 8 stores in Toronto?

Re: 3RD ANNUAL GLB HOLIDAY TAP TAKEOVER - WOOLWICH ARROW
Planning to make it this year. Just have to see if I gotta get a hotel, or if I can find a DD, or maybe Greyhound. Is there a start time? Or just when the Wooly opens? I showed up last year about noon and it was packed.....standing room only(very little) at the bar. Unsure how it was later in the d...
