The Bar Towel

2013 van de keizer blauw. Drinking fantastically well. Tonnes of ripe berry flavour. Drank with some roasted pork, lyonaise potatoes and some steamed green beans. I have one more 2013 stashed away that i'll have to hold on to for a bit.

Went to this last year....great turn out and lots of interesting beer.

I had a Foley brothers Spruce session pale ale arly last week. Sounds pretty similar, really good.

Picked up some smuttynose yesterday at tbs in Guelph, one of the stores that's not that great as far as getting new product goes. So take that as you will(15$/6 pack) It's a tasty beer, but nothing too special IMO. As long as lake effect is around fresh,I won't even look at ,smuttynose again.

@the wooly for lunch. Fresh lake effect. This is the first time I've had it on tap and its out of this world good.

I agree, although I have to say that last years, in perticular, faded very quickly flavour-wise. Hopefully canning instead of bombers helps this

Royal city brewing autum
Ale(spiced sweet potato and b-nut squash)---not bad, I like the spicing on it....nice and subtle

Also, a few classic stand-bys. Fullers ESB and st ambroise oatmeal stout

I like the sound of most of the beers, and appreciate the ambition. Hopefully they deliver
