2013 van de keizer blauw. Drinking fantastically well. Tonnes of ripe berry flavour. Drank with some roasted pork, lyonaise potatoes and some steamed green beans. I have one more 2013 stashed away that i'll have to hold on to for a bit.

Bellwoods bounty hunter-bought in February. All of the coconut and vanilla is gone, leaving behind the porter base Sounds worth lining up for in -20º Celsius! :D Seriously though I'd still buy their one-offs and good to know to drink this one soon after buying. Yeah really. Luckily I just happened ...

Re: 3RD ANNUAL GLB HOLIDAY TAP TAKEOVER - WOOLWICH ARROW
Planning to make it this year. Just have to see if I gotta get a hotel, or if I can find a DD, or maybe Greyhound. Is there a start time? Or just when the Wooly opens? I showed up last year about noon and it was packed.....standing room only(very little) at the bar. Unsure how it was later in the d...

I had a Foley brothers Spruce session pale ale arly last week. Sounds pretty similar, really good.Coronaeus wrote:Foley Brothers Session IPA. Crisp and light but with just the right amount of grapefruit and pine and dankness to make you certain you are drinking an IPA. Great stuff.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
Picked up some smuttynose yesterday at tbs in Guelph, one of the stores that's not that great as far as getting new product goes. So take that as you will(15$/6 pack) It's a tasty beer, but nothing too special IMO. As long as lake effect is around fresh,I won't even look at ,smuttynose again.

I agree, although I have to say that last years, in perticular, faded very quickly flavour-wise. Hopefully canning instead of bombers helps this
