Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

"Best Seller"? Who cares? You mean you don't buy your beer based on sales volumes???? :o Why else would TBS make the top ten so accessible? Heck, the LCBO is right on their heels, having dedicated most of their refrigerator space to North American lagers and their European counterparts. M...

There are plans for 2006 Tsarina! We want to put it in the LCBO this time. Given the recent Dogfish Head debacle, I'm not sure if that would make it more, or less, accessible... -Josh Debacle? Accessible? The most recent DFH offering was a great success. No? Sure, it would be great if there was mor...

Tsarina Katarina v2?

Any word of 2006 vintage? Still working through my 2005 case, but I think many of us would be thrilled to know if a new batch will be available later this year! Or maybe there are plans to bottle some of the other Scotch Irish brands (assuming they'll stay under that name). Any insights?

Most of the German wheat beers are now at the beer store as well, so you can always check there (for some odd reason, they even carry Fruli  ).

I've recently taken to the Fuller's London Pride, Black Sheep Ale and Old Speckled Hen but will try the new Brick offerings soon.

They have it on tap at the Queen's Arms at 1170 The Queensway, between Islington and Kipling. The one half is pub style, the other Indian restaurant. Go for the Indian food, it's amazing (though the pub food ain't bad either).

This is somewhat dated (2003), but may still apply: "Under the deal, Brick will brew and sell draught versions of Big Rock's Traditional Ale and Grasshopper brands in Ontario. Meanwhile, Big Rock's Alberta sales force will sell Brick's Red Cap and Brick Lager brands in the newly-revived stubby ...

Happy to report it's also at Volo - enjoyed a pint on the patio on Saturday, before the rain. Followed it up with a Churck Key Holy Smoke. Both are in very fine condition.

Agree with Belgian. We're not professional reviewers (Lister, are you getting paid for these reviews :) ) and this is a discussion forum. All opinions are welcome IMHO. Even if you like Steelback :o

Crossing an IPA with a fruit beer eh? Not sure why one would get the impression I would like it. Sounds like sheer madness, it's like "wasting" two good beers to create one middle of the road beer. And besides, this just reeks of the whole beer blending issue. And furthermore, how is someo...

I’ll make sure to leave all of the summer release beers for you. Is it because you really don't enjoy them or because they won't make it out all the way out to Kitchener :D I like the occasional fruit beer as well, and will buy Amstedram Framboise, KLB raspberry and the McAuslan Apricot Wheat. I al...

It appears as if we're converging to a similar conclusion....that a body like the OBC may help the general public distinguish between and appreciate the merits of craft made beer versus mass produced (& marketed) beer. I still don't think they can tell the consumer which of its members products ...
