Some interesting stuff on there. A few Euro offerings I've never tried and a couple of big US IPAs that are always fun.

Re: Elora Brewing Company (n. of Guelph)

A shoutout to Elora for making Queen of the Quarry, a German style altbier. It's tasting mighty good right now. Yes. It’s absolutely fantastic, I need to grab more before it’s gone. The Keller Pils is really good as well. Wasn’t as impressed by the black Pilsner, unfortunately. Drag, I have 6 of th...

I'd be surprised too, but it would make a certain amount of sense for the stuff they aim at our market to be made here too. I'll ask around and see if I know anyone who knows.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Anyone catch the date on the Arrogant Bastard? Is there a BB date? I don't recall seeing/noticing one on previous bottles purchased in the States. The expiry date is probably Sept 01 2015, if its all the same run. http://www.stonebrewing.com/freshbeer/ Those I have bought in the States several year...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Stone was an interesting thing. They showed up with a bit of fanfare, but I generally found stale beer on shelves and it wasn't really priced better than local options. I tried a few of their offerings when available, but I don't recall ever going back for any of them. I guess the RIS was well-price...

The rare Bourbon (aka Pappy) lottery is back. Looks like prices have risen a bit on this thing.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Import IPAs are always several months old by the time they get on shelves. I keep seeing Deschutes in my local and it's from last summer. I'd love to get Arrogant Bastard again just because it'll still be tasty by the time we can buy it.

I feel like Vernontoise was available last year. I think I have a bottle kicking around somewhere from that.

I believe they fired someone and then settled the lawsuit out of court. I don't think we'll ever really know exactly what went on there and who is truly to blame.

Re: New Ritual - Supposedly Closed

Yeah, that's not surprising. I'm sure there are dozens of breweries that were announced and never got off the ground. What was that one we kept making fun of way back when? I vaguely recall them being around High Park or Roncesvalles or something, but I can't find the thread. What I'm really wonderi...

It's curious that the thing it keeps mixing up is the year the site launched. Like that's a hard number, you'd think a computer would be consistent on that.

Re: New Ritual - Supposedly Closed

I wonder what the record is for shortest-lived brewery in Ontario is?

I feel for them. Going through all the work to set up a brewery, then trying to open right in COVID. Brutal.

Re: People's Pint - Closed

This makes me sad. The general plight of small brewers in Ontario aside, I really dug People's Pint and what they were doing. Getting a bunch of home brewers stuff out there was really neat, I'm sad they couldn't make it.
