Although I've been too busy with my dissertation as of late to get a Premier e-brewletter out about the holiday beers, I saw this thread and wanted to let you guys know that Unibroue 10 is due to arrive at Premier this coming Monday (11/26). I believe we are getting 15 cases...

In case anyone is interested... We have just received a very limited shipment (5 cases) of Dogfish Head 90-Minute IPA at Premier. This is a 9% abv imperial IPA, with Cascades, Centennials, and Chinooks added as a single constant addition throughout the boil, and then dry-hopped as well! This is a sp...

Chinooks are a great bittering hop - high alpha, relatively low beta. In my opinion, they add a slightly spicy note that is lacking in other C-hops (owing to their partial English Goldings heritage?). Some brewers question their use as an aroma variety - claiming that they produce more "earthy&...

The Rogue Chocolate Stout is their Shakespeare Stout with chocolate essence added. I think it is fantastic. The picture on the bottle is Sebbie Buhler - in my opininion, one of the greatest advocates for good beer in the world. If you ever see her at a beer event or festival, don't pass up the oppor...

The first homebrew I ever made was brewed without any water whatsoever! We tapped a sugar maple in my parent's backyard, and brewed the entire beer with maple sap. As you probably are aware - the maple sap is like water. It needs to be boiled down ~80:1 to get maple syrup. We brewed a version of an ...

We're supposed to get a pretty large shipment of it at Premier. I've seen pictures of the bottle and know that it is 10%, but that is about it. It is a 750 ml, corked, screened bottle, with gold lettering. I was hoping that someone in this forum might have heard more information. Although I'm sure i...

Lee's Harvest Ale, 1986 vintage (the first year it was brewed!) - EXTREMELY limited. ...

Hey bartowel crew - thanks for coming on Saturday! One thing I forgot to mention - Unfortunately Dogfish Head had to pull out last minute because of a medical emergency. The only other "no shows" were Sacket's Harbor (some sort of problem at the brewery) and St. Andre's (we have no idea wh...

Several breweries haven't quite decided what they are bringing yet, plus many are bringing special seasonals that have never been tasted before. Just found out today - it looks like we might have as many as 15 more breweries added to the list on the website. Check back in the next few days - we're still waiting for confirmation. The new additions include St Andre's (Doug Pengelly's brews), bringing our Canadian Brewery contingent to three - ...

Actually, Rogue stopped making the "smoke" in the small XS bottles about a year and a half ago. They are planning to re-release the Rogue Smoke in the 22oz. bottles. As far as I know, they also haven't released the mixed XS cases in about a year because they ran out of this year's Old Crus...
