Great Lakes THRUST! an IPA — Always loved this one. The can still mentions "a beer with a deep copper hue" but this batch is yellow haze. Delicious, but I would love a some of the original.
Blood Brothers Mara (salted peanut butter stout) — This is a liquid candy bar. Muddy brown.

I had Great Lakes wet hop IPA and Bellwoods Bine Hunter (pale ale). Both were good, same hops used. Bellwoods was way hoppier. These were brewery only releases.

Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA - Tallboy cans. Was excited till I checked the stamp. Looks May brewing, so 4-5 months old? Last sixer I bought here was 3 months "fresh," I didn't mind it. Love American breweries. Every time I'm at the LCBO I eye this beer and the Jai Alai from Cigar City, b...

Re: What're you drinking right now?
The stouts at Witchstock were incredible. I probably tried all of them (both sessions).. and paid for it Sunday for sure. I found the beer list was not always accurate and some of the best stouts were not listed. Standouts stouts Burial Beer opened one unannounced magnum of awesome RIS each session....

Collingwood Autumn Kellerbier Excellent. A lager with a noticeable but not overwhelming hop presence. 24 IBU. Loved it. Yup, I am loving this too. Perfect lager for the season. Collingwood continues to impress. Mill Street Chocolate Blossom — Pretty good offering at $4 a can. A little less sweet an...

They are definitely selling imported beer.
The La Trappe products (except the canned collab) are labelled Authentic Trappist Products, a certification which stipulates: "All products must be made within the immediate surroundings of the abbey."

Having Muskoka’s Harvest Ale right now. This is not the hoppy ale of years past. If I was blindfolded I’d probably guess it’s an imperial lager. Rich malt and grassy hops, as described on the can. Mediocre.

St. Bernardus Extra 4 — I am enjoying the Euro hop profile on this, which reminds me of De Ranke Simplex This is more balanced with a nice fruity malt.

Re: Creemore (Springs)
Do the still do the Altbier? On their website they don't list it, so I'd assume it's gone. Too bad, the Altbier, Kellebier and even urBock were probably the best local examples of those styles. Even the Traditional Lager is up there as far as local options go IMO. But I don't think I've bought any ...

I fear they've killed the Kellerbier which was a real gem.

I've had Jai Alai at about 2 months old and it was still tasty. But I would guess this will arrive super stale. Too bad.
Maduro Brown is coming this fall, not really exciting but probably ages better. Hopefully Cigar City sends something dark and robust as part of the winter seasonal release.

Flying Monkeys Killer Cupcake Panda — The pandan leaves definitely bring a vanilla flavour, but that't not really what I want in an IPA. The LCBO clerk mentioned it's her favourite beer ever. Top marks for originality.
