Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

I still miss Wethered's Winter Royal Gosh, I haven't thought about that beer for years. IIRC, you could get it at the Sutton Arms - the "Back Sutton" on Great Sutton St, not to be confused with the "Front Sutton" on Carthusian St, which was a Bass pub. Thanks for reminding me. I...

Many of the people who drank/drink Creemore may not do so because of packaging, but I’m sure it was what attracted them to the product in the first place. The second half of your sentence might be true, but the claim is that changing the bottles might potentially deter pre-existing customers becaus...

So Creemore consumers are so clued-up that they are shunning the draft version because of the Molson takeover, and at the same time are so unsophisticated that they only bought the bottles because of the shape. Is it really so unlikely that most people who drank Creemore did so because it was an Ont...

The brewery itself ...is presently eliminating both the 500ml and custom 341ml bottle. I believe this will have some effect on existing Creemore drinkers who identify with the different packaging. Yes, this is probably a bad idea, but do people really "identify with packaging"? I tend to ...

I have noticed a distinct change in Creemore consumption at the licensee level. ...The publicans feel it is strictly an anti-corporate attitude and the belief that eventually they will slide down the Molson path to less flavour. No doubt Creemore drinkers are not your average Ontario beer consumers...

It's internet slang for, "Frankly, one finds oneself somewhat indifferent with respect to this matter."

If you have to ask, I suppose it didn't. :)

Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away, it was DD's advertising slogan. As was, "I'm only here for the beer."

They don't write them like that any more.

...this program is in real danger of being de-railed, in my opinion. Isn't this a class thing? Seriously. I mean, it seems like every Saturday in the G&M you can find Beppi Crosariol recommending a $60+ bottle of wine from the latest Vintages weekly offering, and they carry much more expensive ...

BTW, at C'est What this afternoon they told me that the Nutcracker would be replacing the Chocolate Cherry Stout when it was done. Now I'm the sort of guy who's always thinking of other people, so I made a valiant solo attempt to empty the keg of CCS. Unfortunately, in the end I had to admit defeat....

Well, you could try to drink what's left over. I think it works out to about 14,475 pints/day. Slightly less in a leap year, of course.
