I called the Woolwich Arms yesterday, and the person I spoke to on the phone had no idea what I was talking about. Said the only St. Ambroise they have is the Apricot Wheat and Pale Ale.

It's probably $11.99 in Gatineau.
A VERY good price. Last time it was here 6 would have cost you $19.50.

Hoarders gotta hoard.

If the beers in question weren't so scarce and had zero chance of ever coming back to the province people wouldn't have to buy 3 cases of a limited release at one time.

I'm heading east in a couple week. I'll be in Saint John, Summerside, and Halifax.

I'm planning on visiting Propeller and Garrison in NS, Pumphouse and Northamption (Picaroons) in NB, but I never heard of Big Tide. Is it new?

Wait a sec - they SOLD you beer that was given to them FREE by brewery reps? Wow. That just might be grounds for AGCO license revocation. And even if it's not, it's pretty skeezy. Couldn't disagree more with this comment. First, we don't know if this is actually what happened as the original poster...

I wish I had know about this sooner. I had a bottle of Hawaiian Pale Ale in my hand a few weeks ago at The Morrisey House, but gave it a pass. There was no brewery listed on the lable, and the fact that it was a 650ml bomber made me think it must have been something from Trafalgar. I wish I had tri...

I tried it a few days ago, and thought it was brilliant. Reminds me of Black Sheep Ale. A nice summer beer.

Should have added the option of "local brewer" to the poll. I spend as much there on beer as I do at the LCBO. More maybe.

I agree with the Upper Canada Lager and Dark being good beers for the price point.

The swing tops look nice, but I'm glad to see it's coming in a regular bottle, as their seasonals in the swing tops are priced too high to make them regular buys, despite their being very good.
