But when it was in stock and available in the larger bottle format no sod bought it so it got delisted. I've never met such a fickle bunch of drinkers ever than in Ontario. And this isn't a go at you personally, Illuminatus. Not taken personally. :) But I only got one pack of Anchor Steam. And I ha...

The Anchor has a great malt profile. I wish they'd get more Anchor Steam in.

If you're in the KW area, there's a group of us who're splitting some cases of Mikkeller - the thread's in the Random Talk forum. Actually, it's over here in the Private Ordering forum now - I moved it, since it fits in better over here, although I left the "shadow" post in the other foru...

I really don't get much in the way of spices out of this one. It pretty much tastes like a watery wheat beer. I'm going to have to pick up another bottle, I'm thinking that all the hops I've had today have done in my palate.

I've never had an Amsterdam that I thought was much better than average.

Frank spent a bundle on marketing, yet did a lot of it himself. I wonder just how much he paid himself? Pure genius? Or one hell of a money laundering scheme? It probably would be cheaper to start a brewery from scratch, but then all of that marketing would've been a complete waste. They did start ...

I'm glad you liked it, seeing as I'm the one who let you know that it exists :P. FYI, the King's Pils is pretty good, probably their best seller, but I've always felt the Premium Lager is their best offering of the 3. It's the maltiest and tastiest. But then again, the King's Pils is the only one a...

I just think you need a few more bottles! In my estimation there is a lot going on in this IPA. Oh, don't get me wrong - the hop profile is excellent. I'm not knocking the ST, it's great. But as for the few more bottles...you buying? :P (I have 5 more in my fridge, and I'll be surprised if they las...

Just had my first bottle from the LCBO. More piney than I remember, less grapefruit. I'm also getting a lemon note I didn't get when I had it at Chaucer's. Personally, I prefer a bit more malt, but there's no denying this is an excellent beer.

Are there really cave-dwelling communities of French who can't read a few English words on a bottle label? Yup. It's called "France". And the quality of the paleolithic cave art IS quite high... but I meant that here we have a "bilingual" country which at great expense enforces ...
