I'm on crutches so my sweet wife is going to Queens Quay this morning to try and grab me a case.

Don't knock her over you animals! :)

Basically, to see how a beer ages you need to know how it tasted before you aged it. You can't really tell if it changed or improved if you have no idea what to compare it to... It always amazes me how many people fail to see this logic. It seems simple and obvious but I have lost count of the numb...

I've had 3 cans of Cobblestone now and each and every one has overflowed after the nitro release. This happened even with cans that were in a cold fridge for hours. It's enough to make me give up buying it. Didn't the guys at Mill St. test these out beforehand? I'm sure they were aware of the issue ...

Interesting note on the #100 from ratebeer: Editor’s note: Even though the label says "Barley Wine" in the States, the brewery usually says it’s brewed to be an IIPA. The American label was supposedly a glitch. In Europe it’s sold as an IIPA. But to save the admin crew some time dealing wi...

So does the Westy 12 have some serious aging potential? Guess it's worth picking up a couple packs.

I'm sure it'd be easy to sell a few if needed down the road when it's all gone.

Well I was happy to drive by the "Beer Boutique" in Liberty Village (Toronto) last night around beer o'clock and see it practically empty. I think most people have caught on to the fact that it's nothing new and just a fancy way to display the same tired old brands.

Just noticed this was back yesterday. Picked up a 6 pack at the Liberty Village LCBO.

This is a delicious ale and is nice change-up from the IPA onslaught I've subjected myself to lately.

That's not to say I won't be picking up mad bottles of Double Hop Head!

I thought the Kriek was quite a bit better than the Gueuze. I know the Gueuze is "supposed" to smell like that and while I found the overall taste interesting at first, ultimately it was pretty disappointing. I'd take Panil over that anyday. Maybe there are a lot better examples out there.

Was in the "Boutique" last night. Nice to look at but I wouldn't wanna marry it. As everyone else has mentioned, it looks like the same old tired BS stock layed out in a new way. I did see some IPA from Sasketchewan in there (forget the name) with a train on the box and saying it carried &...

Just finished a first time beer run to Buffalo and went to Consumer's and Premier based off of the suggestions in the thread. A little overwhelming! Hard to know what to get and as it was a sameday trip, I didn't wanna get too greedy. I imagine I still could've picked up at least another 24 bottles...

I was lucky enough to grab a six of this the other day. I've only tried one but the taste reminded me of DFH 60.

Granted I think I tried this after a bottle of ST 2XIPA and a Rogue Brutal so my palate couldn't been a little out of whack. :D
