Has anyone tried a fresh bottle of the 120? I've got two and was planning on having one fresh and cellaring the other. Or would it be worthwhile to just cellar both? Fresh 120 is very boozy and not as "hoppy" as I expected... IMLE... It's like a very delicious hoppy barley wine if given 1...

Enjoyed both a 60 min IPA and a 90 min IPA last night. Not quite sure which I enjoyed more. 60 min was all hops which was nice. The 90 min had a sweet malt presence as well as layers and layers of hop varieties. I've saved the 120 min IPA for tonight. Has anyone tried a fresh bottle of the 120? I've...

I live in Whitby and besides the lack of beer bars I dont see whats with all the negativity towards the city..

I'll be stopping by this pub tonight over some dinner after the gym. Quite an interesting menu still not sure what to order.

It's not the cheapest, but it's a good start: http://www.magnotta.com/festabrew/Search.aspx?SKeyword=brewmaster%20reserve In terms of equipment, you could start with a fermenting bucket, bottling cane and some caps (use bleach to sanitize and table sugar to prime). Once you're bit by the bug, read ...

Fullers

Picked up a bottle of the XX Strong Ale, Double Stout, Golden Pride, and IPA yesterday when passing through Aurora. Pickering also has quantities of the majority of these. Had the XX last night lots of flavours all balanced and blended nicely. Looking forward to the stout tonight. Cheers.

Got my bottle today - quite impressive to behold. Initially told it would take 3-6 weeks. I'm a little confused about one thing, though: the note affixed to the bottle makes reference to a specially designed glass for the beer yet does not give any particulars about its attributes or where to get i...

Had a bottle of the Stone Cutter last night. Loved it. Not my favourite style but was a nice change. I know this is nitpicky but... I notice that the Baltic label still says 10% but the LCBO says 8.3. I'm thinking the website got it wrong otherwise they would have changed the labels (AND it woulda b...

Re: so much talk

My LCBO in Whitby just uses the generic single code of 896571. Charges $2.00. Curious to know the prices of the ST IPA and Mad Tom. Any beer in an open format, with the exception of St. Ambroise Pale and Lug Tread, can be sold individually. There are single codes for all of these beers. Why not post...
