I went to the Heartland LCBO in Mississauga Sunday to pickup some of the St. Ambroise pumpkin, got there a little late as someone walked in earlier that day and bought all the stock.

Got some Great Lakes instead so not too big a loss.

Craft beer and Curling Clubs

Not sure how many bartowelers are also curlers or frequent a local curling club. In Ottawa it seems that the curling clubs have more craft taps than many of the local bars. My club the Granite currently has Hopcity Barking Squirrel Beau's Lugtread Heritage Dark and Niagra's Millstone Just wondering ...

The 2 litre bottle it comes in ala Colt .45 or Shlitz is a little off putting :), but I've had the cans a few times and they its definitely a sessionable beer.

Its ufortunate that Trafalgar beers take up valuable shelf space. There are so many better brews that could use it, even most marginal beers are better than trafalgar.

I was there recently as well, the cupers cove was described to be me as sitting somewhere between the red and the pale. So I just went for the pale, I wasn't disappointed.

Great place, really enjoyed it. They need more places to get good beer on the island.
