Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Well, Dalton MCGuilty spent mega bucks on a impartial study that recommended privatizing the system and the government promptly disagreed and ignored it.
Don't expect this to be an issue at all this time around.

The Kellertrübes for C'est What? and the Pumpkin Ale for Cask Days are, as usual, my first(perhaps only) attempt at those specific beers. I am just flyin' by the seat of my pants on both of these. Just trying to say that I hope you like them.

I am also sending along a "kellertrubes" cask lager, which is an unfiltered zwickelbier, with a nice reddish hue and 40 IBU's.
Oh no, Perry is "firkinating" lager...

Some stores have sold out of it already. Brock St. comes to mind (thanks Greg!) We are beginning to get re-orders already and I am taking another full shipment to Toronto tomorrow!
Thank you all for your amazing continued support.

Well Ashley, if your living in Hudson, simply hightail it over to Ottawa and pick up a keg yourself. You'll have to go to the Beer Store warehouse on Hawthorne to get DT and Brooklyn though. Check out the Beer Store website for pricing, location and availability.

I have retired the term "beer geek" from my vocabulary and replaced with "true believers". It just sounds sooo classy!

Tim Blakely is now brewing there. Having worked at Elora, Taylor & Bates, Wellington and Gordon Biersch, Tim knows his stuff. You can expect some experimenting from him.

I had the great privilege of meeting him briefly in 1983 whilst on a tour of Tower Bridge brewery (defunct) in London. He was jovial and unassuming and every bit a Yorkshire man.
I bought his Encyclopedia of Beer in 1978, and it opened my eyes to a whole world of beer. He will be missed indeed.

That price should not be too unworkable. Leffe sells a ton of beer for $172.85 for 30 litres, Tennents Lager sells for 253.20 for 50 litres and Delirium Tremens for $200.00 for 30 litres. F***ing Stella sells for $263.00 for 50 litres. Brooklyn, at $ 268.00 for 58.6 litres is a deal as far as import...
