Hey, the HPH is on this list. Good to see a brand new place in Ottawa start off on the right beer foot. Any ideas if they will have it on tap? I don't know about HPH but Pub Italia has Doublewide in bottles (or at least they did on Jan 20 - the Beau's website must have had the wrong date). I haven'...

The latest info I saw says Clark's Ale House is re-opening sometime in the Winter/Spring at 321-325 S. Clinton St (looks to be roughly across the street from the Syracuse Suds Factory).

Just picked up a few from Summerhill today and the date is 05/01/2012. Best before I imagine, anyone know when it would have been canned from that? is there a code involving a letter (A through M) followed by some digits? That's typically the canning/bottling date, and that's how they were with the...

Enjoyable beers included: Dieu du Ciel Corne du Diable; Cheshire ESB; St. Ambroise IPA; Indie Alehouse Conductor's IPA (cask); Black Oak Gender Bender. Unfortunately some of the beers I wanted to try were not being served until later in the day and I could not stay. Also, the St. Andre Hop Infusion...

Re: no Garrison for me
How do they lose a private order? It's not like it could have ended up on a shelf at another store by mistake. I think your order got "lost" in some LCBO employee's fridge... One way they can "lose" an order is by not really trying to find it. That's what happened with my last p...

Starting to hit Ottawa today. I just got some at Bank & Walkley.notdan wrote:I hope this isn't the full release; not a single bottle in Ottawa still? I know I'm not there right now but I always hate to see Ottawa left out from special releases when random small towns in southern Ontario can get them.

A competent employee came by and actually knew to look in the back but he didn't find my beer. :( Too late to call the SS in Toronto today to see if they have any idea where it is. Bottom line, I'd just like them to ship my case (with or without paperwork) sometime... How many LCBO employees does i...
