see, I knew these wouldn't be -crazy- expensive If $26 for a 6-pack of cream ale isn't crazy expensive, I don't want to know what is. Did a quick comparison for the Mikkeller Black. It retails in Germany for 7.69 Euro's (C$11.23) http://www.bierkompass.de/product_info.php?info=p521_mikkeller-black-...

That Hitachino Nest list price is cheaper than what it actually retails for in Japan....where the beer is actually made. That is nuts.

I've been collecting the Unibroue 17 for a few years now...It ages great after one year. Not sure about more time, we will see this fall/winter. I'm also sitting on a few years worth of Deus, but I'm not sure why. :) I'm pretty sure that the Unibroue 17 that won a pile of awards at the WBA was aged...

^ good ideas bakagaijin, in that beer-focused LCBO stores would streamline both the beers and the beer consumers to those stores, it looks more efficient for everyone and may better support the 'niche' beers that are expensive to ship (concentrate their distribution in a more cost-effective way.) T...

A great majority of our customers are searching for products whilst they are on the move and are for the most part looking for product availability within a short driving distance. How could they possibly know this? Even if there is a way for them to measure what type of device is being used to acc...

FT: BBA Peche Mortel

I have up to 8 bottles available. I'm looking mostly for BBA stouts/barley wines in return, however, I am open to IPA's and sours as well.

IP only in the Toronto area. Preferably West side of Toronto.

^ How was the BA Peche for you, I was a bit underwhelmed but it was fine. Still like the regular bottled one the most of all versions. This was my 5th bottle of the 2013 version. It is very good, but I find the bourbon flavour a bit subdued. I've heard that they reused the same barrels from the pre...

Where are you Gueuze? Where!?
Apparently, it arrived in May. It has received a 'conditional pass' from lab testing (likely means there is an issue with the label). Once that get's resolved it will be released.

If some stores are showing inventory then call up your local store and speak with the person responsible for ordering beer. I just did this with my local and they ordered Jolly Pumpkin and Omnipollo while I was on the phone with them. It will be on the shelf next Friday.

I recommend bourbon......because bourbon is awesome! W.L. Weller 12 year is going to be released at the LCBO in about two weeks. This is a well-regarded bourbon. It should retail for $45. It is the same juice as Pappy Van Winkle. Exact same mashbill and distilled at the same distillery (Buffalo Tra...

I recommend bourbon......because bourbon is awesome! I used a few gift cards on to buy the Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year and the Van Winkle Lot B when they had the special releases. You just missed out on the Four Roses 2013 Small Batch Limited Edition which was released a couple months ago. It was rat...
