I finally tried Aphrodisiaque on tap in Montreal recently and it met if not exceeded my rather lofty expectations. I have a bunch of bottles at home and while not quite up to the same standards, I think they are excellent - leagues ahead of Young's (a beer I quite like). My wife's favourite beer eve...

Hey I love Granite, I am just trying to think of "new" solid locations and Mill St fits the bill (almost every tap would be a new beer to these folks). How long has Granite been around? Maybe it is new too! Agreed on Mill St's food - but sit at the bar and enjoy the beer and you'll be fine...

If you are talking about changes in the last 15 years, then Volo, Beer Bistro, Mill St., and even Victory are must stops. I'd suggest Ceili Cottage for a night cap, as I think it is a very unique bar in T.O (and it has good beer).

Yep, in bottles anyway. I imagine it is in rotation at the usual premium beer destinations in T.O.

Southern Tier Choklat. Definitely a highlight of this year, worth seeking. I wonder if Rogue fans feel this one's actually better? To answer another poster's question if I may as to where he got it, likely Buffalo, it is available there. It is a different beer Belgian, for sure! Much more intense d...

I actually appreciate when normal Peter decides to share his insight with us about how this whole thing works and his experiences in dealing with the LCBO. He's provided a lot of great insight on this board over the years, as well as great products. What I cannot stand is when this other, um, stupid...

Just did some google mapping, that is not a short drive! Even from my hunting camp up in maynooth, there is not really a quick way over there!

Best of luck to them, needless to say that would be an under served market for people who like good beer.

Looking back on my notes, I liked this a lot - it was so different from the "typical" (meaning great but similar after a while) Unibroue taste. My highest rated of heir Anniversary releases.

Thanks for the info Len! It would be nice to get that larger format that I have seen the "Lion Stout" in in the U.S - for some reason I like aging larger bottles more than smaller ones (don't ask why, I just drink smaller ones whenever I try to age them).
