Never thought of the Alba as being particularly gimicky (or at least not more so than the rest of the set). The Heather used to be sold individually a few years back, and I did use to enjoy it then.

Now if I could only find people willing to make up 70 or so cases for a North Coast order...

I'd be up for a case, also depending upon the beer.

But grab a Quelque Chose, Fringante and Terrible, these are 3 years aged now and have held up pretty nice so far. I tried a Oct 99 Quelque Chose last April (5.5+ years) and think I waited too long. If you use the search function to pull up the previous thread on the Bock, you'll see that it hadn't been discontinued, and was due to come back this year.

Due to the usual "unforeseen circumstances", I now have two spare tickets for Sunday. If anyone wants 'em, PM me.

I remember the glowing bottle, and still have an empty in my bookcase. I also recall the LCBO claiming the bottles would glow long after the switch to the non-glow-in-the-dark bottles.
