Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

I assume there will be at least one wheat beer on the list. I wonder if it could be St. Bernadus Wit.

it's available at the King & Spadina store now. I had to have them bring it out from the back, but there should be a good number of bottles.

Derek, as I see you are in BC, have you had the Imperial Red Racer? Is it brewed often? That is one I am very curious to try one day.

There is probably still some Brooklyn Monster Ale and Dieu Du Ciel Solstice d'Hiver in stores, but I don't think there is anything year-round. St. Ambroise Vintage Ale is another seasonal one that presumably will be back at the end of the year. It would be nice if there was something year round but ...

Same is true of the Magpie. I quite like that bar, but there are times when they have a DJ playing where it is pretty difficult to have a conversation. Obviously some places are focused on the music or dancing, in which case it may make some sense, but the Magpie is not one of them!

I was just in Florida, and thought CC's Jai Alai IPA was pretty darn good. Brought back a saison they did with The Bruery, but have not opened that one yet.

Not a good sign if we don't have a listing on the website yet.
I have heard that it has arrived at the LCBO labs. How long that will take is anybody's guess, but I do think it will show up. It better- this is the most exciting beer of the release for me.

I am interested in getting in on a case, if somebody has room. Ideally just looking for one of each, though I could do two if that works better. In Toronto.

Interesting to see the different takes on this beer. I had it at C'est What on Friday and thought it was quite good. Remarkably bitter for a stout, but I thought it worked. Funnily enough, the best part for me was probably the cask treatment. I tend to like a very low carbonation level in my beers a...

Hi all - been reading the site for awhile to keep abrest on new releases but have never bothered to register until now. Picked up the Spruce, Black IPA and Porter today at the Dupont location (which also had the Pils). The Black IPA label claims it was bottled December 9, 2010. Is this a typo? I kno...
