Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Re: Update

We're working on a bottled product as I write this...if all goes well, it could be on LCBO shelves in a limited release in time for Halloween. You can check our new website just launched today (greatlakesbeer.com) to find out where it's on tap right now in the meantime. We'll also have a keg on tap...

Beau's

Beau's can also be found at the Manx, corner of Frank and Elgin. They also have a decent number of taps of ON micros, and fabulous burgers. As for Qc fare, I can confirm that Marché Jovi and La Trappe à Fromage are pretty much the only establishments with a decent beer selection in the Outaouais. Re...

Ottawa trip

Hey Jer, if you are in town long enough, maybe we could do a little gathering at l'autre oeil, or maybe at one of the Bierophoux locals in Gatineau, and hook you up with the infamous... DUMINATOR!

Check out Ian's blog to find out more about the ...DUMINATOR!

Salut Ian,

I would actually raise the question to Joris Pattyn on ratebeer. I myself tasted a 1987 Kriek Hannsen from his cave, and it was a delight! Joris is very knowledgeable about these things!

Perry, you feeling juicy?

Maybe I should pear you up with a young brewer on the other side of the river who's just got back from Meurisse Institute in Brussels and is extra juicy. In fact, he's drenching.

PS En français, çà sonne pire encore!

Good news! How would this one fare compared to Party Source (which went downhill over the last few years) or Galeville?

Cerezo from Unibroue and McAuslan Scotch Ale-Ottawa Report

For those in the region, or coming soon to our fair region: Just tried the new Cerezo, the toned down version of Unibroue's Quelque Chose. It is available in Gatineau, at least at the Rapido on Front Street (Aylmer). It is a rather oversweetened version of QQchose, but it has the nice wooden notes a...
