Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Qc is similar to ON, with the exception that only 1 excedent case of 24 can be brought in with duty, before it is considered a...

Although Montreal has a great number of brewpubs (and more to open in the future), it lacks in beer bars similar to Smokeless Joe, Volo, etc... The only one in Mtl proper with a good import selection is Biere et Compagnie (http://www.bieresetcompagnie.ca) on St-Denis. Vices Versa and St-Bock have a ...

Was a pleasure meeting Al! As we only knew what is forehead looked like, the little cardboard saying Al the Beerblogger came in handy. For the plus side of Watertown, me and Steve did a mini tasting in the room with some Sly Fox Odysee Imperial IPA, some Brooklyn Chocolate Stout (7.99 at Wegmans), s...

This is a small but fun little fest. We will attend the afternoon session. A special invite to our friends in the ...

I noticed a bunch of new items on the LCBO website. Holiday gift packs (including erdinger, budels, affligem, chimay and orval) and the small bottles of chimay blue cap. A lot of the gift packs are the same ones they had last year. Which site did you look at? the regular LCBO.com and www.lcbogifts....

A little question from our Bieropholie brethrens in Quebec. Does the person doing the order need to be an ON resident?

Out of QC residents can make private imports orders to the SAQ, provided they are close enough to an SAQ for pick-up.
