Yeah some bars will sell you a glass(or you could just take it ;)...). I know the Beer Bistro in Toronto serves Rochefort, so if you're ever there you could ask them if they could sell you one, or order one in for you.

so theres a fairly good chance it would go through then. how much do think the limit would be before they took notice? I'm looking at 6-12 beers, possibly more if it works out.

edit: also....what happens if it is discovered? pay the taxes?

Is there any issue for US or Canadian customs when shipping beer? I know carrying it across isn't a big deal, but I'm not sure about mailing it. I can say I liked Kostritzer, maybe it was a bad brew but the one I tried had a chemical taste. I tried the weltenburger, orval and rogue this weekend. they were all great, I liked the rogue and welty in particular and will try to get some more once this snowstorm passes(my lcbo was almost out of st...
