Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Re: Cask Days 2016
Does anyone know if the Oregon casks (Cascade, specifically) will be available throughout the festival? Or just at the event at Volo on Saturday night then at the Brickworks on Sunday? The event poster seems to imply the latter, but it's not clear...

Re: Beer Coming to Grocery Stores?
so we have websites we can use to find lcbo products and TBS products.. any way to see which beers each grocery store has in stock? There's almost no way that would even be possible. It would require different chains of grocery stores to release their inventories to the public for another website t...

Re: The future of the LCBO
As much as I'm in favour of fully privatized sales, there's no reason that the LCBO can't exist as a parallel system. Divorce private sales from the LCBO -- let them import, distribute, stock, and price however they want -- and then the LCBO can keep doing its thing, focusing on premium products and...

Re: Goose Island Brewpub
Ugh, the Esplanade. Douchebag central, but touristy, so I guess it kinda makes sense. is it that bad these days? I used to work in that area a long time ago but rarely go now. I find the King West area, near WVRST, a shitshow on weekends. That area of King W is definitely worse. As one of my friend...

Re: Nickel Brook Brewing
I've never really understood the love affair with NB, specifically NN and Headstock, but Immodest is definitely fantastic. Can't recommend enough. ^^^id agree with that comment on the headstock, I've never really loved it as much as others seem to. Man, and here I think that fresh cans of Headstock...
