Re: LCBO Winter Seasonal Craft Beer Release 19/20
I hear we are getting Cigar City Marshal Zhukov.. Edited the list below thanks to JaseWescott, a lot of repeats from previous years as always: ONTARIO CRAFT BEERS ... TBD - King Kung Imperial Stout - 473mL ... I don't think that I ever saw this on shelves and it's never been listed online to my kno...

Re: Cigar City Marshal Zhukov Russian Imperial Stout
In the local store and one of the staff told me he thought everything was pretty much in. Well that ^^^ was November and I just got a Cigar City Marshal Zhukov Russian Imperial Stout at Summerhill. Merry Christmas... in May, and I assume this shipment must be perfectly matured for drinking now unle...

I saw some bottles at the Queen's Quay LCBO about a month ago when I last stocked up.roland wrote:Hi, do you remember which LCBO store?beerstodiscover wrote:13444 Renaissance Tribute Barley Wine 2018 - 500mL — Just saw this one. Good price at ~$6.50, haven't tried it yet. And it's not viewable on LCBO.com.

Re: Ontario Craft Beer, Imports and Pumpkin Beers at the LCBO (Fall 2019)
Is the Black Isle Brewery Systems Theory Imperial Stout officially a lost cause? The Spring 2020 release doesn't really inspire me, so Systems Theory would be a very welcome late addition (particularly if one of the scotch barrel-aged variants).

Re: Uncorked-Wine and Spirits Appreciation
My boss is trying to organize a scotch tasting for clients. Looking to pick up around 8 bottles in the $70-100 price range (although it would be fine to have an outlier or two of more expensive and/or some cheaper value options to keep things interesting). It will be a blind tasting, which should be...

FoBaB
I'm headed to FoBaB with a buddy in November. First time for both of us. Anyone able to shed some light on what we can expect and how to best maximize the experience?

Re: Mont Tremblant, QC and surrounding area
I'm headed to Mont Tremblant for a couple of days in September. Preliminary research suggests that beyond La Diable in town and St. Arnould on the outskirts, nothing new has popped up. Anyone aware of anywhere else worth hitting? I was there last year and the Metro/IGA? had a very good selection. L...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery
Anyone else notice that BOYD has been pouring quite a bit around beer Bars in the GTA (Bar Hops, Wvrst, Thirsty & Miserable, even The Brain in Hamilton)? Looks like a sign to me that bars are liquidating before the infection really takes over.

Re: Bellwoods Brewery
After a tough stretch at work, I cracked one of my BOYD 2018 bottles today. It was notably off and tasted infected. Hoping it was a one-off, I cracked a second bottle that turned out to be just as bad. Checked in with a buddy of mine and he had a bad experience with a bottle last weekend. I'm getti...

Re: LCBO Spring Seasonal Beer Release
Worst release in a while. Good to see the Eggenberg Doppelbock and Ayinger Weizenbock back and fresh La Chouffe is nice, but otherwise very slim pickings. I'm honestly a little bit relieved. I have a pretty healthy inventory of winter beers to drink down.

BrewDog in Toronto
A recent BrewDog blog noted Toronto as one of the new destinations for a BrewDog Bar and mentioned signing a lease:

Anyone know what building they've leased?
