Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO
I see that Fullers Imperial IPA (662411) 10.5% is also coming at $8.00 for a 500ml bottle. Bought one at the Brewery shop in March for £9. It came in a green box with a best before date of 2028 and just like their Vintage ales will develop over time. " Our unique take sees UK hop varieties Targ...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO
Hope we get the 50th Anniversary 2018 vintage next year at least. Who is likely to brew it for the Italian owners of the recipe? This year it was Meantime in Greenwich but they are now owned by Asahi of Japan

Re: lcboapi.com and drinkvine.com
Tyke66a saying thank you Ralph. I will certainly miss Drinkvine since I used it daily to check the location of various bottled beers and found it very reliable to determine local and province wide availability Could get stuff in Markham ie Hitachino Nest that never made it anywhere near Ottawa. All ...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO
Apparently most of the Christmas packs and stock, ie Fullers Vintage Ale, will not be listed online until after Remembrance Day as a mark of respect. Fullers Vintage Ale is out in select stores now. By the way the LCBO has messed up the Imperial Stout calling it Fullers Brewers Reserve Imperial Stou...

Re: LCBO Xmas Release 2017
According to Jeff of Quench Imports Sam Smith Winter Welcome will NOT be here this year. No 3 pack plus glass either, just the single bottles of Organic Chocolate Stout. Come on LCBO get your act together......Bloody nonsense.

Re: LCBO Xmas Release 2017
A lot of the Christmas beers are not listed on the LCBO website or drinkvine even though they are available in the stores. Fullers Vintage Ale is 676213

Re: LCBO Xmas Release 2017
The Vintage Ale costs £6 ($10) at the brewery so we get a deal at $7.85; it keeps and improves with age, best before 2027; I give some as Christmas presents and my 2005 rare bottles are selling at the brewery shop for £300 so it appreciates every year. It's a decent pint in my opinion.

Re: LCBO Xmas Release 2017
Picked up a case of 2017 Fullers Vintage Ale in Ottawa today. Lots of repeat Christmas packs out already ie Historic Scottish Ales (no Kelpie?) St Bernie pack, Belhaven pack, and singles such as Greene King Festive Pudding, Shep Neame Christmas and Wychwood Ba Humbug.

Re: LCBO Xmas Release 2017
Was going to mention Fullers Vintage as well but beaten to it by gentlemen of good taste! With Sam's Winter Welcome and boxes of Fullers Vintage Ale most of my Christmas shopping is taken care of. Cheers. :

Re: LCBO Xmas Release 2017
Sam Smiths Winter WELCOME should be a there somewhere because we've had it since 1994...such a regular so not on the list of new Christmas beers. It has more bite than the pale ale and as a Yorkshireman, is one of my favourites
