Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA ---- this highly rated double ipa has been a bit of a let down for me ...too boozy in the nose and palate and lacking the flavour of a Bellwoods Witchshark or a Black Oak 10BY, both of which I highly enjoyed earlier this summer...perhaps my 4pack of 90minute is too fresh ...

... but I am surprised by how many Canadian craft brewers are still putting out mostly pedestrian/out of touch products... obviously it is still selling for them, but it shows how Canada is still quite a ways behind the US. And it's weird how Canada's best new brewings seem to leapfrog ahead of bee...

The 6 Immortals I picked up last night had a bunch of sediment that looked like it had sat for quite a while. It had formed into flakes/sheets, rather than being granular, if that makes any sense at all. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm not hopeful for it's freshness. Same here. Thin layer off sedim...

I'm really enjoying the Hop Wired. It tastes quite fresh and delicious to me. Is it a possibility that by "production date" they mean brew date rather than bottling date? It is good, no doubt. Although when they're talking gooseberry, those flavors have dissipated in my batch, and I grabb...

I'm drinking the Cascade Hop right now. No corn syrup detected. :D It's like a slightly less tasty version of St Ambroise Pale Ale, but stronger in alcohol. Had it come out 7 or 8 years ago I might've made it a regular but not today with the better selection available. Might work to introduce newbi...
