Labatt is going to increase the price of a flat over time eliminating the buck a beer syndrome. Molson will soon have to follow suit with Carling because they both don't want the market flooded more than it is with cheap beer.

Just read on cbc and The Star websites. Looks as though Labatt has finally realized that people are buying Lakeport for a buck a beer instead of the same thing (Blue) for $10 more.

The Nova Scotia Liquor Corp is selling Delirium at $2.98 a bottle and managers at various outlets claim that it will be a regularly shelved item. Unlike the LCBO, the NSLC isn't offended by the pink elephants or the Delirium name. That's good for me.
