Ya I found it to pretty much tasted how you did. Did you find it was really sweet? Must be all that sucrose they add. The LCBO says it has a sugar level of 6 for cans, and 5 for bottles. Oh LCBO, when will you get things straight?

Mr. Alexander Keiths Original Cider

Any of you hop-heads drink cider? Saw this at the LCBO in single cans, and 6-pack bottles. Haven't cracked the can I bought, yet. This one is so new it's not on ratebeer, nor their own website. Their own Facebook page doesn't even mention it. 5.5% alc./vol. Has things like sucrose, malic acid, and f...

Got my paws on a can of this stuff. It was delicious! Can't wait to see it 'officially' released and readily available! Where did you get the can? (or can you say?) The can was a 'gift'. I dare not say where it came from. It wasn't a 'retail production' can. Just one of those 'sample this beer' kin...

Grand River Brewery - not selling growlers now.

Went there last weekend, found out they aren't selling growlers anymore. The horror, the horror, the horror..... what's next? No Jubilation?

Now where am I supposed to get a 2L jug of delicious beer in the Cambridge area?

Lager Bore, what flavour of hops are you growing? My Mt. Hood bines are kicking my Goldlings' ass. The Mt. Hood has 5 sprout-thingies, and the Golding only has 1. Quite impressive considering I just randomly chose Mt. Hood when I ordered it. hahaha.... Once I have this hop garden in full gear, I'll ...

Oh it's a photo-battle you want, eh? I'll bite. I went with a larger 'bucket trellis' system than you. I got my hands on some restaurant-grade mayo buckets, and drilled out drainage holes in the bottom of them. So the roots have about 20 Liters of space to fill. I figure that's pretty good. http://f...

Not a problem! When the time comes, I always make myself available for a "Hole Diggin' ". In case anyone was interested, my Mt. Hood, and Goldings both have healthy looking sprouts. But some sort of animal keeps digging up the soil around the root, so I put a protective metal grid/screen I...

Inspired by this topic I went ahead and ordered 2 hop rhizomes from Four Horses -- Mt. Hood & Goldings. I'm quite excited. I put them in 20 L buckets with the recommended "Trelliss System" suggested here: http://www.ehow.com/how_5083257_grow-hops-pot-bucket.html I decided the bucket wa...

Dear Mark,
You, sir, are one organized muthaf'r.

When I make a batch of beer, I sprinkle in just enough disorder and miss-steps to keep things interesting!
