How much roughly would it cost to start up a small hombrew operation?

Including a good how-to book, ingredients, bottles, and a decent equipment setup?

Where did you pick it up?

Steam Whistle makes a great pilsner, but it's not even close to the best brewery in Toronto.

After two bottles tonight I have to say that the brew is pretty decent. Not the typical hop monster I enjoy, but very nice.

Picked up 6 bottles tonight, will share my thoughts later.

Definitely agreed. I already avoid The Beer Store like the plague, I can only assume I'll be doing the same in the future with the LCBO.

I'd much rather just save up and make a daytrip across the border.
