And a great fella to speak with as well. It was interesting to see Ken Anderson in Chicago and then hear of this sale.. The torch is being passed. When Grossman retires it will be a sign. Koch will die in a variety store trying to get them to give him more shelf space so don't hold your breath on J...

I used to go to the Judge pretty regularily until I moved to Niagara. I never had any issues with either the fellow or any of the ladies that worked there. The food isn't bad but that's not why anyone goes there. Honestly I think you are being overly sensitive but I might of taken umbrage in the sa...

If it's an ordinary brew such as a pale ale, I'll use growlers. Oxidation from a loose cap-fitting may be an issue, but that's why I use them for the small beers. For the big ones that need some time aging (Xmas ales, DIPAs) I'll use regular bottles. I used minikegs for years but lost favour with th...

Hillier is a libertarian whack job (well libertarian up to the point of gay marriage, then he magically turns into a raging social conservative). I'll drink Keith's for the rest of my days before this idiot becomes the premier of Ontario. I won't go so far as to drink Keith's for the rest of my day...

Found a mixed 6 of this at a close LCBO this weekend. I had tried a sample of it at the Judge once but that was enough. I didn't hang with it beyond that and went to usual Grand River or Church Key offering. I think the bottled version, while fresh, was underwhelming and left me with a sense of drin...

I've been all-graining for just over a year now and have had decent success with supplies from Brew Time in Hamilton. They are a BOP for those who wan't a deal on 48 litres of beer, but they do have a good selection of malts, hops and White Labs Yeast Strains. What they don't have, they seem to be ...

In your dreams pal!!!!! Actually it was at a recent session at the Judge that I decided I needed to buy more for the house. Bottled isn't the same as poured pints but I'll take it.
