I went today. It would have been a total waste of time except for Perry's beers. I spent most my tokens on the Barely Wine, Vanilla Porter and 2005 bottled Imperial Stout which was a real treat.

I hit all four staying in Victoria overnight a couple of years ago. I would have liked to have spent a couple of days there. Great beer and a beautiful city. They also had a great trail for running.

Has a glass of this today at the Castle...big burnt toffe /caramel malts against some pretty tenatious hop bittering...this ale tastes like something Wellington would brew if they had balls.
I am looking forward to trying this. I do miss the Wellington IS and can't wait for it's return.
