I haven't heard the ad in question, but it strikes me as silly to complain about a certain style of beer that doesn't fit your individual preferences. What does "excessively hopped" mean, anyways? Were you expecting a pale ale and not an IPA? Or are we talking about enamel-melting, inappro...

We've had our scooter stolen

I'm sad to report that our beloved electric scooter, endearingly nick named “Scooty” by our staff, was stolen from in front of our office (156 Augusta Avenue) between the hours of 2:30pm on Saturday, April the 27th and 9:30am on Monday, April 29th. Old Scooty wasn’t necessarily the most stylish or t...

Interesting. His twitter followers have gone from 74k to 55k to 15k, back up to 21k, and now 32k - all in the span of 2 weeks.

Do you think such a brewery might be quickly overwhelmed by demand and run out of beer? I don't believe the larger breweries would have any difficulty meeting demand, even in the event of a lengthy strike. I could see someone like Indie and Junction having issues as they are already running near ca...

We definitely wouldn't be cheering on an LCBO strike. However, I can see why any brewery with a retail store/home delivery service would be salivating at the idea.

Hmm, still can't decide if I'm going this year. Will need to choose between a few options.

Highly recommended though. Without a doubt a highlight of the festival season for anyone who hasn't already attended.

As Greg mentioned, Brock sold the Burger Bar in December to focus on the beer company. We're not entirely sure what the new owner has in mind at this point. It has definitely been closed longer than expected, so it may have undergone a complete overhaul.

Well.. he seems to be the "CEO" of Parkdale Inc. and GoodTimes which don't seem to be real registered companies, however there is a sweet picture of him riding a horse on his linked in profile. http://ca.linkedin.com/in/jasonparkdale It is only logical to question whether or not that is a...

Yep, he sent me a rambling, vaguely threatening message on Facebook, also making fun of many of you for casting doubt on his many "projects." He also reads these comments, so hey "Parkdale Beer", why don't you set the record straight? I responded to a post on Facebook to the tun...

That's the thing we're all wondering... Only two possibilities that I can think of: 1. He is somehow making money through these fake businesses. On line advertising? 2. He is more off-centered than Dogfish Head. Option #1 is more plausible. He's many tens of thousands of followers shy of being able...

This guy is nuts. A fake Italian/Vietnamese restaurant? A non-existant film festival? A brewery with no beer? I mean, if the guy wants to be taken seriously then he could drop a sample off to anyone in the industry and put this to rest. As is, I'm sick of hearing about this. Sick of having people a...
