Just got back from a quick visit. Kekumba, you were right about the temp. flucuations. Went numb around the Beaus side, but was comfortable the further you walked from Elgin St. ....Not like there is any warm area when it is -20. Beaus had a few really nice offerings in their tent. Spearhead Stout w...

I made it out last night too, probably walked right by each other at some point. For future reference: Mick has long, curly, red hair and wears an eyepatch. Codfishhh has a massive hump on his back and mumbles to himself. I am excited to try Beyond the Pale's lineup. I had planned to go tomorrow an...

Phillips Ginger Beer - wow what a great base for a marinade, I could add roasted chilies, crushed garlic, some limes... Has a pleasant floral quality as a beer to drink as well. Ginger is VERY good for your stomach, so this is worth trying at least one of. Good brewery! Decided to open my bottle to...

The Wellington Gastropub has some nice ontario craft beers on tap as well. I agree. We were there on Friday and half the tap list was stuff I had not had before. Stuff like Aston Brewery's Extravaganza IPA, Beaus' Mango Saison, Beaus' Farm Table, Hogsback Kilty Bastard, and Wellington's Imperial St...

should I drink the New Morning saison cold, cellar-temp or room-temp?

Please advise.
I think it mentions the ideal temp on the side of the bottle. If I remember correctly it is 12-14.

12?

Scotch Silly and Scaldis Amber are now regulars at the SAQ.
Whoops. I had the St. Bernardus 12 in there as well, but there is not stock anywhere.

So yes, Rochefort 8 and 10, in case anyone was puzzled.

Maybe Zuma can chime in on hosting... he mentioned it last time, and I owe him some money, so would be good opportunity for both ;)

Anyone seen Quelque Chose or La terrible from Unibroue recently? Looking to grab some more of these next time I venture to QC. I'd like to know too, I'm heading there this weekend coming. We have not seen Quelque Chose in these parts in many years. Someone else can verify, but I think they only sel...
