I may have to give La Brulerie another shot. Same distance for me as Omni.

I know the rule of thumb is to store lagers at cooler temperatures than ales. Should Samichlaus be stored in the fridge (my beer fridge is at 10 deg C) or in the cellar?

If I'm skunked on this, as a consolation I'm taking my 76 bucks to the SAQ and buying 17 bottles of Rochefort 10.

I use a cupboard in my basement with styrofoam on the sides and a few newspapers taped together at the front for insulation. Also, store those bottles upright.

According to their FB page, they'll have the Rye at BBB tonight, Wellington Gastropub tomorrow and Arrow & Loon Saturday.

Bwahahahaha! Yes, sir! Heading there next week as the DDC Grande Noirceur is supposed to be arriving Monday.
I think tomorrow's quest will be to the blvd. du Plateau SAQ for a couple of bottles of St. Bernardus 12.

I go to Omni to pick up DDC and LTM releases for the most part. I don't expect anything mind-blowing but have been surprised on occasion. It's just so much easier to get to after work than BHH.
