Re: What're you drinking right now?
I've been drinking some beers received in a recent trade from a Buffalo trade partner. The White Oak IPA and Red Army RIS from 42 North. I had never heard of this brewery before, but he noted it is a local favourite of his. The RIS is particularly excellent. I love it when trades include local favou...

Re: Best Craft Pilsners at the LCBO right now
Thanks for the replies. I’ll grab the Side Launch (always liked that one) and a few of the others. I already have some Bellweiser and Paper Tiger for him too. And I am stopping by Muddy York today for a couple.
I need to try a few more of these myself. I like a good lager but never seem to buy any.

Best Craft Pilsners at the LCBO right now
Hoping those of you who drink more lagers than I do can help with this. I have a friend up from Florida on the weekend who wants to bring back some local craft Pilsners (and good lagers). What would you currently recommend from the LCBO? They can be traditional or not.
Cheers.
Cheers.

All Stars Bakery makes a Kvass. You can find it in Russian supermarkets and it is usually in 2l plastic sofa bottle.

Re: What're you drinking right now?
Stopped in to the Rainhard Heaets Collide release yesterday. All three versions were nice. I generally like, but don’t love their stuff. That changed with Revolution 8 DDH IIPA. Great stuff. January 25th canning date. Bonus points for being in a 355ml can.

Re: Craft Beer Research Project
There are a few confusing/odd formulations in your survey. “Dark” is not a beer style, at least not in the sense that others in your list are. What is an “Imported domestic beer?” That just doesn’t make any sense. In your list of “craft” breweries you have Better Bitters and Nickle Brook listed. One...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery
I love the regular SK this year - had the coconut and the coffee ones at the release/holiday party and I felt that both the coconut and coffee flavours, respectively, were overpowering to the already excellent beer. Perhaps with age it would be better integrated. I passed on the variants. I thought...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO
Another screwup for the CBS At Summerhill today. The Founders website said that it would go on sale at 9:30 and to line up at 8:30. It has since been changed to 11:00 on their site. The good people at the LCBO were willing to sell to those silly few who got here before opening so that we wouldn’t ha...

Re: General Ontario Brewery Discussion
The best of the Ottawa area breweries in my opinion. Definitely a step up from BTP and Tooth and Nail. Sunsplit is excellent.
