These were my thoughts exactly! I was looking forward to a maple infused lager from Trafalgar - alas my hopes have been dashed.

Have good well written content - ie. Hire a copy writer

and have good clean design free of clutter.

If you've got these two things your website will stand out from the majority.

I was actually at Nickel Brook today and asked about the cans as well. Not available yet - their waiting for LCBO approval etc before they actually order the cans and begin canning. Until then headstock is available in bottles at the brewery. I picked up some of their new Russian Imperial Stout &quo...

Glad I stumbled upon this thread as the bottle of Porter Baltique I bought had such an overwhelming sulphur smell and taste I had to pour it. That was probably 3 weeks ago now and I bought the bottle at Queen and Carlaw.

Kettlevalve installation

I just picked up a kettlevalve and kettlescreen along with a brewmometer to kit out my 34L kettle and was wondering if anyone has installed these before. I see the instructions for the valve recommend either a 7/8 inch hole saw or a step bit. I've looked up step bits and they appear to be the best t...

This is the reason the beer store will never go away.

The last part of the article is the most telling. This just makes me sad. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/935096--buck-a-beer-not-coming-back-to-ontario-mcguinty-says?bn=1 "At Queen’s Park, government sources said Tuesday that Hudak will be crying in his beer if he thinks he can succ...

I agree completely with Rosko. The 'house' music they were playing was awful. A lot of the brewery's were running out of supplies by 10pm - Great Lakes shut down early and Muskoka ran out of Harvest Ale. For some reason Church Key was selling a "Chocolate Porter Cocktail" that was just awf...
