none. i wanted a good IPA so i bought a case of DFH 60. That should do it. Now if there was an Ontario IPA of the same quality i'd be supporting that and wouldn't mind spending $60 on the case like i did for the DFH.

All sounds like a good idea.

Maybe Trafalgar will contact you to turn your IPA into a Cherry/Oak Aged/West Coast Pale Ale. Hopefully we'll even get the signature gold foil over the cap as well! The LCBO will pick that one up for the fall release for sure ;)

I hope they'll still take the old ones back. I've got a case of empties in the basement waiting to be returned to the brewery on my next trip to the tri-cities area.

I got 6 bottles from the brewery about 3 weeks ago. 2 were horrible and almost undrinkable with the butter flavour that has been described here. The other 4 were fantastic, nice and hoppy. I think i'll wait till they clean up the quality issues before buying again though. I made beer batter for fish...

I'm not 100% positive but I belive the "bag it back" program was started by the government and they mandated that TBS be the only place for empties returns. Anyone else remember?

I vagely recall being able to return pop cans for refund as a child here - not sure when that may have stopped.

Re: Life Lessons learned at TBS

Unless they have changed it, I don't think there are any US brewers using the Canadian ISB. Most use lighter thinner "one way" glass. Anyone else know different? they are pry off not twist off My mistake then. Even so there has to be big money in accepting bottle returns, I mean it is not...

All they need to do is add a little gold foil on top and they'll be at the level of Trafalgar labeling excellence.
