I would have been curious to see how the La fin da monde would have faired as well. I compared it to the Westmalle and prefered the Unibroue.

St Ambroise Vintage Ale 2009

After the long wait I managed to get some of this yesterday. With the extra 1.8% alc, there is more sweetness that makes this vintage taste more like other barley wines and less like the 07 version. While it is a fine beer, I'm kinda dissapointed that this vintage has lost it's distinctive hop/malt ...

I'm fairly certain that Belgian Shop stopped shipping to Canada a couple years back...has anything changed since? Too many problems with Canada Customs.
